Does Insurance Cover Chiropractic?

Increasingly, insurers recognize the cost effective, evidence-based care provided by doctors of chiropractic for back pain and neck pain sufferers. The vast majority of our patients at Henry Chiropractic Clinic, LLC in Greenville, SC have at least some chiropractic services covered by insurance. Many patients are pleased to find that insurance coverage may help.

Automobile accidents and workers compensation cases may be covered 100%.

In most cases, no referral is necessary.

There are a few exceptions:

The Department of Veterans Affairs requires a referral from the VA.

Medicare coverage is limited to manipulation of the spine.

Many plans do not cover orthotics, cold laser therapy or nonsurgical spinal decompression.
